Meet Jenny An American painter, Jenny McGee was born in the Philippines in 1978 and raised in Missouri. She spent seven years of her adult life in El Salvador, where her deepest values and assumptions were challenged by the world around her. Her artwork and international experiences coincide with the ethos and importance of environmental respect and an eco-friendly approach. As a breast cancer survivor, Jenny realized that to go beyond the day-to-day survival mode her love of art could be used as a tool to express emotions and emulate the courage and beauty found within each one of us. Jenny resides in Columbia, Mo., with her husband David, son Jonathan and daughter Ema Blue. From her​ ​studio, McGee combines her background in graphic design and painting with her Latin American experiences​ to create ​one-of-a-kind paintings that often represent the intersection between healing, hope, and love.  As seen on HGTV! Jenny's paintings hang in numerous public and private collections. Her increasingly collectible status has attracted a growing list of patrons and her work has been featured on HGTV’s House Hunter’s Renovation. Some of her clients include HGTV’s designer Kelli Ellis, Group President of Estee Lauder and Clinique, Charter Communications, Central Bank, Sigfreid Bingham Law Firm, Midwest Transplant Network, and private residents on the Jersey Shore and Wall Street.
