Lake Champetra Transformation

A serene and peaceful lake – scape inspired by a Midwest gem called Lake Champetra. There are waves of thick texture throughout this entire piece and the setting sun glows on the water with gorgeous oranges and pinks. For me, this piece speaks about transformation. Just like the sun starts over with a new sunrise and sunset, transformation begins with a willingness to start over. 
I am thankful to God for a vision I saw one morning. A transfiguration of something old morphing into something new.
