💁‍♀️During that time, I had these precepts that in developing or third-world countries that is where doctors and nurses go. That is where development workers and anthropologists go. But I was a job less graphic designer and an artist, feeling way out of my comfort zone.


I remembered thinking how can I hold God’s people in my heart. The idea came to use the song, “Here I Am, Lord,” as the backbone of a series of 20 paintings that collectively sing the song.
Here I am, Lord
Is it I, Lord?
I have heard You calling in the night
I will go, Lord
If You lead me
I will hold Your people in my heart…


For Edgar, who lives in rural El Salvador, it is cheaper to buy a plastic bag filled with Coca-Cola than a bottle of clean water. In addition, many large businesses benefit from the use of child labor in sugarcane fields.
